This privacy policy describes how Inburgering: AI Coach ("the app", "we") handles your information. The app is a study tool for the Dutch civic integration exam (inburgeringsexamen).
1. Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive your Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address.
- Voice audio. When you talk to the AI language coach, your voice is streamed to our servers and to our speech-processing providers so the coach can understand and reply to you. Audio is processed to run the conversation.
- Study data. Your exercise answers, practice-exam results, study plan and progress are stored so the app can work.
- Purchase information. Subscriptions are processed by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
- Technical data. Basic device and usage information (such as device type and app version) used to keep the app working and fix problems.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the app: lessons, practice exams, study plan and the AI voice coach.
- To maintain your account and subscription status.
- To improve the app and fix technical issues.
- To respond to your support requests.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
3. Service providers
We use a small number of service providers to run the app, including cloud hosting and database services, real-time voice infrastructure, AI language-model and speech providers (to power the coach), and Apple (sign-in and payments). These providers process data only to deliver their service to us.
4. Data retention
Your account and study data are kept while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time (see Contact below), and we will delete them within 30 days.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR (AVG) you have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
6. Children
The app is intended for adults preparing for the civic integration exam and is not directed at children under 16.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced in the app. The latest version is always available on this page.

Abonnementen lopen via Apple; wij zien je betaalgegevens niet. We verkopen je gegevens niet en gebruiken ze niet voor reclame van anderen.
